Through the Faded Lens, you will see how old films captured moments and how they set the mark for entertainment. Specifically, I will be covering the films of a filmmaker that established himself as a genre, "The Master of Suspense", Alfred Hitchcock. And occasionally, I will throw in some other films that set their own mark. The lens goes beyond the black and white.

There is Certainly No Vacancy at Bates Motel (SPOILERS)
In summary of last week's episode in two words: Poor Dylan. Dylan has been living, what feels like to him, a lie. He is the offspring of an unfortunate event between his mother and brother: rape. My head is still reeling, because we as an audience was hit with the news with him. I know I have said this before, and I will say it again many times in the future: Bates Motel keeps me reeled in for more. This show is like a winding road; you never know where it is going to take you, and it almost always seems like the end of the road will end in a fatal "accident". You better watch out, Caleb. Norman Bates is on the hunt.
